John Macpherson

After two years teaching in Dingwall Academy, went as a teacher to Colegio San Andrés in Lima, Peru. During 18 years there studied theology at Free Church College on successive furloughs, and was ordained as a minister. Then spent 10 1/2 years as minister in Dornoch before returning to Peru for 4 years. Followed that with 7 years as minister in London. Retired for last 6 years.

Married to Catherine. Three children - Cairine married in London with two sons, Malcolm, unmarried, working in oil industry in Azerbaijan, and David, married in Moyobamba, Peru with three sons.

Main hobby - wide reading. Should have more, but have survived without them. Glad to be reasonably fit and able to keep serving the Lord through Leith Free Church and other avenues.
