Jim Bethune

I am 58 years old and I was born in Uig on the Isle of Skye. Although my background is from Skye, my connection with Leith goes back to the 1860's. I am a time served steel structural engineer, and have been in engineering type employment all my working life, currently being attached to Scottish Widows plc. I have a lifelong connection to Leith Free Church and have always enjoyed the friendliness and fellowship amongst our congregation.

I am married to Helen and live in the Restalrig area of Edinburgh. My interests include reading, pastel drawing, genealogy and the keeping of tropical fish.
